Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Yesterday, I did a bit more research. I found 3 gasket type devices at Home Depot. One is for a Kohler toilet. It is a flat gasket. The external dimension is correct. The gasket is a bit wider than ideal but I don't think that will be a problem.
The other two gaskets might work also but with one generic model, the outside dimension is a bit smaller than ideal. The other is a tapered style which doesn't seem to seal as nicely as a flat style.
My plan is to use the Permatex "Right Stuff" gasket product along with the Kohler gasket to test the seal between the flow meter and the correct threaded coupler. If this seems successful, I will purchase more of these gaskets from Amazon to complete the project.
I got a genuine Kohler at Home Depot. I might go with the more deluxe alternatives on Amazon since I am willing to pay more for success. I need the "yellow" ones without the tab.
