The question is, what do you want to cut? 

The Government performs specific,necessary functions. Protecting the Environment is a necessary function. Weather forecasting is a necessary function. Like it or not, Healthcare is a necessary function. So which functions do you want to cut, and why, and why will it be cheaper to do it in the Private Sector, or why does it need to not be done at all? And the problem with DOGE wasn't cutting government jobs. The problem with DOGE is that it was completely unconstitutional and there are long established ways, in the Constitution and in the laws on the books, to accomplish the things you say you want.
