Subject: Liberty Cleth in Sprayer Tank

Good evening, do these products draw out chemicals in the boom and poly tank? I got caught tonight and had to quit spraying. My plan is to agitate tank in the morning and spray in the afternoon. I did use some Dicamba in the spring for burndown for Xtendflex beans I planted last... I am mainly E3 beans. I flushed at least 500 gallons when I cleaned the tank out when I finished burndown. I have been using Liberty and Cleth as a post program for the beans and emptying out the tank at the end of the day. But tonight I have 400 gallons sitting in there. Can I keep spraying? Has anyone ever heard of them drawing out old chemicals? Thank you in advance

Spray 10-15 gallons on the driveway to purge your booms and you’ll be fine

If you spray 10-15 gallon out before you start you should be fine. If your not then you had way to much residue in there and you were already hurting your beans spraying today. So just spray your booms out on the ground in morning and start rolling.

Is there AMS in the tank with the other products? As the N in the AMS will pull out any residual diacamba left in the booms or tank. If you used ammonia water or AMS with your tank cleaning water and let it sit in the booms and tank for a few hours should be fine. But the longer your product sits in the sprayer after being rained out might get some bean puckering from what was left in booms agitate and purge booms will help.

NW in.
What also helps is put your sprayer inside if you have chemical left. The sun shining on the tank and hoses helps loosen some chemical up and also the hotter the water can cause more injury..
