Plug your meter probes into the two right holes at the bottom of your meter, color doesn't matter. Then set the dial to the setting just left of top center, the one with an arrow with a line through it and infront of it and with the sound/speaker symbol, that setting tests continuity. If you touch the probes to either end of the fuse and there is no change in reading or "OL" then the fuse is bad. A good fuse with test basically 0 and the meter should beep, same as if you touch the probes together.
