You don't have to agree with me... that is just the way it is and will continue. I did not offer my "opinion" on whether it was right or wrong. I agree deere would make more money selling more machines and parts to more people. One line of equipment on every section or in todays terms like the above poster mentioned- 5- 4,000 acre farms vs 1 20,000 acre. Either way- 5,000 acres is the smallest equipment buying "pod" or farm in the US cornbelt (think I states). The dealers welcome the "liquidation" sale format for many reasons. They aren't going broke- that was never said. Its the new format that more and more dealershiops/ brands will adopt.
