Faunsdale, AL | I assume that either the excess flow preventer on the valve supplying that line worked or the leak was small enough to allow you to control the fire.
I’ve had an anhydrous tank liquid valve get snapped off leaving the excess flow preventer screwed in the port of the tank. Luckily there was a slight breeze blowing and the small tank was well away from anything or anyone in the field. I could walk right up to the tank but couldn’t do a darned thing to stop the small stream of liquid ammonia spraying out through the bleed hole in the valve disk. | |
