One hangup i have with AA or CR is the constant reaffirmation of who I was. Identity drives your behavior not the other way around. Addict is no longer my identity so I refuse to put that title on my name. Its a chapter in my story but not the ending.
Support is necessary to beat any addiction so find what works for you but it takes proximity and vulnerability for accountability to happen | |
