We baled alot of corn stalks and hay with a 535 with net wrap. Biggest things were to keep swerving back and forth to keep bale filled evenly. Our gauges on the monitor worked good enough or you could keep an eye on the gaps between belts. Stop imminently when the light says wrapping has started or you see the twine arm start to move, by immediately I mean clutch and stand on the brakes.
Also had to add this pan inside the rear tailgate to prevent the wrap from getting scuffed. Deere 535 BUILD-UP REDUCTION KIT - ST418131. I would highly recommend you have this for stalks
I think you can adjust how far in advance the warning/flashing part of the light comes on—-get used to it and you’ll be coasted to a stop just as tie starts |
