I think Tesla would have had a good self-driving system if it were not for Elon's meddling and bungling. Other car makers are using LIDAR and AI, but not Tesla is not using LIDAR, only visual cameras, at Elon's insistence. When he was criticized for this, he fired back personal attacks in true MAGA fashion.
