Altoona, WI | I have no idea about the short term memory loss thing, but in the case of a missing center line, my car has always stayed in the right lane. I have even tested this on snow covered country road where there are no lines visible at all, and it maintains itself in the right lane.
There was a stretch last Fall where the car would center itself between the center line and the white line widening out for an Interstate exit, and then rather abruptly swerve to the left to re-center when just past the exit, but that has been cured in one of the winter software update and does not do that now. | |
