Galena IL | I have a 461R that the first 500 bales were a pain because the accumulator was not plumbed properly. Got that fixed and worked for a day the showed “short to ground “ turned out to be the wire for the preservative applicator, which we never have installed, got on top of the drive coupler coming out of the right side of the gearbox and the grease fitting that’s impossible to get to wore a hole in the wire. I bailed 250 bales with it Sunday about halfway through one time it said “tailgate not improper position.” I have learned from running my exact emerge, corn planter that when it gives you an error code, shut the Tractor off, get out and walk around the Machine look for something obvious, I can’t find anything get back in and start it up. About a 10 minute delay Sunday the only problem I had. You may want to look for that wire. It’s on the right side of the tongue tied off. It goes back to the right side of the Baler, see if it’s touching that shaft anywhere….. Dennis | |
