My brother refused to seek help and was to ‘proud’ for AA meetings, he was convinced only losers had to use AA and he could handle it alone.
After many unsuccessful attempts to get sober without help, he drank 2 bottles of cheap whiskey for dinner one night and never woke up. We all offered to help many times and he insisted that ‘I got this’. He get meaner toward the end.
Time to step up and beat this maybe?? |
