The issue at hand is that you need to access to previous farmers records. Most of the time your not going to get that, so that’s why you prioritize planting it to avoid issues.
I feel for ya, and I have heard it’s been wet down there this year. I sure hope you planted said farm in question so it’s eligible for PP this year when you need it.
