Several of the farms are tiled but the overall accumulation in a crop season like 2021 and this year had made it near impossible. We had lots of guys planting ridge corn June 19th and most of the single crop beans haven’t most touched in our general area. I am perfectly fine with there being a 1 in 4 rule but not with being at the mercy of someone else to be eligible for insurance.
Best analogy: you buy a classic car(truck). A cobra, stingray, camero. A real nice expensive car. You get hit by a guy with insurance. Now your adjuster asks for the previous owners insurance information but because it’s your car and not his you don’t have it. Now they deny your claim. You are stuck fixing the damage yourself. If you were hurt you have to pay the bills out of pocket. All because a rule that makes no sense | |
