"His account" meaning....he has been a reader/poster on AgTalk a long time?     or his personal story has been posted on Agtalk a long time?

I am aware he has been a poster for quite a while... I am not disputing that he is a credible poster. 

I am surprised that he would be a 40-year employee and not have a retirement plan set up.  Not saying it is not true.  I am just surprised.   I can see a person who is an employee in a small business that has 1-2 employees and not having a company retirement plan.  I am surprised to read that someone who was  an employee in a John Deere dealership not having a retirement plan.
