| I haven't tried that being the bolt on tabs make it more aggressive, but it basically plugs between the deck plates and the stalk rolls cut everything off that they could get ahold of and then on top the chains just ride up over the stalks that are wedged in there. If you catch it right away, you can stop, run the deck plates out and reverse it out but usually by the time you see it, under a second, its too late. It seems like it happens on the outer 6 more than the inner 6 but still happens everywhere. The dealer talked to the harvest equipment specialist and thats where the extra bolt on lug pieces came to play. Only like 2 dealers stocked them, I believe in one of the I states, and contacted them to see if they worked and said they help but didn't completely stop the problem. | |
