Hate when parts guys complain about serial numbers.... Can it be an issue? YES but id say 90% of the time the part is the same each way or an early one will sub to the later one. Problem is most guys throw their hands up and give up when you say you don't have it. Our local deere dealers are a joke now days for parts


I'll agree...until they don't match, and someone gets mad and I get to buy a part back, pay freight, and listen to a lecture from a customer who didn't have his serial number anyway...

I'll look for anything UNTIL I get to a point I need more information, then I'm either needing the serial number or whatever break there is, or I'm not ordering it until we can verify the correct part.
