Subject: RE: Gleaner 3312 Corn head

Jeffersonville, OH
I have never seen this many problems from a 3300 header. Probably have 30 of them running. I'll say maybe 6 of them are 12 rows, and short of last years down corn after the hurricane blew through, I have RARELY seen them plug.

Assuming Kansas?

I sell more Gleaner heads to Gleaner customers, and mostly sell Drago GT's to competitive combine owners...but do have a couple GT's on Gleaners because guys had Drago back when all we had on the Gleaner side was a Hugger/3000 header. Myself, and my customers that have ran both put the 3300 and the Series 2 Drago about on par with each other, with the Gleaner being less maintenance heavy. The GT is a step above both, but might have some more daily maintenance to keep the deck plates working 100%, but all but one person I've sold them to say they are worth the work for the performance.

Something is for sure up with your 3300, or something about your conditions...

Chris
