I have tried one also - so far ok, but seeing the same - small leak. Right now I have 2 full wraps of blue monster ptfe teflon tape. Think I am going to try Rectorseal 21 black on both sides of the tape and use 3 wraps. Haven't yet - but want to see how close it is by filling a cone and if it matches a sight glass on a stainless tank.
