If after all expenses the guy with paid for ground makes $400 per acre but someone would have paid him $500/acre up front to rent it, and hired the old guy to help with harvest, which way does he make more money?
You can do whatever you want to do but sometimes you get paid more to use a calculator and think about what it’s trying to tell you.
