Thank you for your response. Sounds like we are thinking similar. Curious what region are you planting in and what early varieties have you tried. I am not trying to hit a home run just trying to hit singles that hopefully add up over time.

I planted Dynago M60GB31 this year and looks good just had a lot of rain early and it tillered out so now I am hoping it will finish before it runs out of moisture.
