western iowa,by Denison | Got the 1026 home,my neighbor Joe is a ih nut-but close inspection he showed me everything wrong and maybe everything right?
It has black casting under the steering wheel with a black tint underneath the gauges,a spec of off color gold by the air intake under the hood,it came factory with a diamond cab but in 2017 cab was takin off with different one installed-took it for a hour tractor ride and steep hills and hydro is ok ,kind of bought it just for yard tractor -I gave $12,000 ,it does seem to start and drive ok,thinking of taking cab off as it has 1206 fenders already on it. I will try to get some pictures later.
I remember in the 1970's as a kid it was a huge deal in the neighborhood when someone got a new tractor,this tractor has had 5 neighbors look at it already,gosh i don't think anyone would care to look at the new ones that cost $300,000
anyhow,hope I do not p-ss anyone of with my post,and I will post a few pictures later.
