Altoona, WI | I seem to remember reading somewhere that we in the U.S. are about the only ones who seem to like ice water. Most other countries, you get room temp tap water. Probably for the very reason you state.
On a totally unrelated note, as long as I am replying to you Ed, yesterday word got out that Tesla is close to releasing Hardware 5 for their new cars. Seems that as FSD progresses, the computing requirements keep increasing and Hardware 4 is almost at its limit. 5 will be about 50X more powerful than 4. We are being left in the dust with our older Teslas! Par for the course when it comes to computing. Also, there will be even higher resolution cameras with lens that will melt snow and have some sort of special coating to better repel dirt/water/snow. The only camera on our car that we have any issues with is the rear one in the wintertime, getting covered with snow and road grime. We just made it a habit to give it a quick wipe with the thumb as we walk up to it. | |
