| It's just pork butt that's cured and smoked like bacon. there are several different brands of seasonings you can buy to make it. Usually enough in a package for 25 pounds of meat. It's simple to do but takes some time. When mine is done I use my slicer to slice it about 1/4 inch thick and vacuum seal it. It doesn't taste like regular bacon quite but I like it better. A lot leaner than you can get at the store now days. You can also use the same seasoning to make Canadian bacon with pork loin. Also very good. | |
