SE Iowa | Cutting dry, NH3, fungicide passes and pops gonna be on a few minds this off season. Myself included but it’s land costs that are the hardest to change. Some of the established farmers (not me as I rent mostly everything) could seriously think about taking a year off. Less wear and tear, no work, no risk, and possibly just as profitable. I don’t think I’d ever do that if in the same situation but kind of crazy to think about. | |
