De Forest, WI | Mine were mulching the row middles of about 1500 tomatoes. Stella (10) is getting cereal rye straw bales from the hay mow. Her sister Caroline (9) is standing and aligning bales as they are tossed down. Older sister Erika (12) is driving them to the field. They spread them by hand.
It’s good work and it shows in their sports. They are stronger for it.
