Subject: Getting into custom farming

ontario
I currently work for a farming operation, have farmed small time cash crop in the past on my own.. Didn't work out for a few reasons. Rented land sold to farmers etc. I would love to farm some on my own again but the land rental market is a tough one.
I have been wanting to start out on my own at least on the side again, I always wanted to custom combine but not sure it's the most profitable/ good starting point. I could probably find a decent 2388 case or 9650 deere etc for fair money.. But don't have trucking available and would need a cart and tractor so a big investment altogether.

I'm in Ontario Canada, Any ideas on what you would most likely prefer to hire out? Bale wrapping fertilizer spreading etc? And to buy a machine without work.. its hard to make the jump. In very early stages just brainstorming ideas currently.
