WC Iowa | Chopping corn head and high speed disk. Without sizeing residue before the high speed disk in high yield environments it will be hard to leave a smooth enough finish to plant into. We went with the horsch joker because the rear coil basket seems to push residue in better for less blowing than a traditional basket. The catch is that in an open winter the field is so smooth it can blow and make you rethink your decisions. | |
