A 40 degree frig temp won't last long at 90 above. And most people don't have room in their frig for that.
A frozen solid gallon jug filled 3/4 full will last all day if carried in a bag. I don't know what is easier/more effective than that.
All it costs is a $10-15 bag and it's quick and easy.
