Mendota illinois | I spent nearly 40 years being a service manager for a John dealership and I tried my best to help the customer over the phone or see to it that a technician was sent out as soon as possible to solve the problem and help out the farmer when they neededhelp. That’s what I felt that my job was to do. In the busiest time of the year during fall harvest, there was several days that it had more than 100 phone calls in a day and I answered all of them and either help solve their problem, sent a technician out to solve the problem, or put them on the schedule. The newer dealership do not want smart service manager, because if he doesn’t know anything or can’t help the customer, he can send a technician out to solve the problem. Since I stopped being a service manager, 20 years ago, I’ve got a totally different outlook on the way dealerships treat their customers, they are only for the money not to make a happy customer. They don’t care about customer satisfaction, just get the their money. Not to mention the outrage prices for parts and labor
At the present time, I am in need of some help to get a lady friend of mine home from a dangerous situation where she is less than 800 miles from Iran. She does not have money for airfare and I am broken, living off of Social Security so I’m no help to her. I’ve been trying for days or I should say weeks and months to get a loan to get her home but the customer service you get from these loan agencies are terrible. I have just about exhausted all of my capabilities to get her home, but I’m not going to give up. This new world of computer technology is really creating unsolvable problems.
Sorry for the rant, I’m just flustered.
