We used to freeze 1 gallon milk jugs.
Just take the jug as is with us all day long.
Pretty much get thawed out by the end of the day
Seemed like the jugs with the 2 inch diameter, Inverted bump on the side worked best.
These allowed for some expansion when freezing.
