ec nebraska | I have had the same John Deere 1770NT CCS 24 row 30 for about 15 years. Recently it started to give me issues folding up the planter. When I'm finished with a field and the hydraulic oil is hot, but still normal temp, I will fold the wings forward and when I engage the wing wheels to go up to transport and the rear transport wheels to the full up position, nothing happens. The wings wheels move slightly but act like they are stuck. If I shut the tractor off for 5-10 minutes and restart, the wing wheels go up immediately just like they should. When the hydraulic oil is cool like when I have a John Deere tech come out to look at it, it works exactly as it should everytime. I recently switched planting tractors, but it would do it with the old one occasionally as well. It getting worse. Anybody else have this issue? | |
