| 20+ years ago sheriff and deputy were pounding on our door at 3 in morning claimed we called 911 on landline. (We hadn’t) There was a large lightning storm just north of us but no rain. The sheriff had to physically see and talk to my wife as well as protocol for domestic abuse. She told him to come back in a couple hours and we can chat. He showed up about 15 minutes later saying we called 911 again. (Again we hadn’t) Talked a bit and he was again radioed to come here again before he left. He knew we were both talking to him when call was made. Landline was messing up. Nobody ever talked to 911 operator. | |
