Without getting into a bunch of chemistry words, isomers are kind of mirror image of the same molecule, so there is a ‘left-handed’ isomer (S-isomer) and a right-handed isomer (R-isomer) and there aren’t more isomers than that.



You forgot D and L isomers such is the case with glufosinate. L isomer (Liberty Ultra) is herbicidally active and the D isomer is not. Regular Liberty is a 50/50 blend of D and L isomers.
