Pittsburg, Kansas | Stayed overnight in Pasco. Left Enumclaw yesterday and passed through the fruit growing area around Yakima. Lots of fruit and vegetables around Pasco. East of Pasco now in wheat area. Wheat already harvested, wheat ready to harvest and wheat green as grass.
Why such difference in wheat? Spring and winter wheat? In the town of Dayton now for a coffee break. Soon be passing into Idaho.
