We can barely get guys to show up and put the wet stuff on the red stuff. If we required anything more, we would have even fewer interested.
This probably is true for most VFDs.
People aren’t involved in community like my parents and grandparents generation were.
and I think the reason people were involved was for the social aspect of it. We don't have to congregate anymore to visit with people.
