West Texas | In our area we typically can not get milo planted until mid April and start to run out of the rainy season by mid June. I have been planting an early - mid maturing milo variety that is suppose to be mid bloom at 60 days but seems more like 70-75 days. Thinking of going to a very early variety that blooms at around 50 days. Anyone done this to get it to fully bloom before the rain stops. Thinking it might not have as high a yeild potential but rain is typically my limiting factor. Thinking of planting a dynago variety M54GR24 next year. Have been planting their other varieties and like how they look. | |
