Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
The above is excellent advice. Follow it carefully.

As mentioned check the Vol/Min. in Manual. This is a direct reflection of the speed of the turbine in the flow meter. If it is varying considerably, this means that either there is vapor passing through (cooler and plumbing not doing their job) or the flow meter is hanging up due to wear. The flow meter will wear prematurely if the tanks are run empty. The above post mentions several areas that could cause a restriction and result in pockets of vapor.

The system has to be showing a reasonably stable reading for Vol/Min since all its control activities are based on it as well as ground speed, target rate etc. This is why putting the system in Manual is helpful. The control valve will not be changing so you can observe the behavior of the flow meter and take steps to remedy the problem as necessary.

If the display is blanking out, this could be incorrect wiring to the Fast Close valve.

As you may have gathered, many of us recommend getting rid of the single Fast Close valve where one valve needs to be quick enough to turn the system ON and OFF but yet able to make minor changes for rate or speed changes. Having two valves where one controls the ON/OFF function and the other is geared down so it can make the minor changes needed for rate control is a better solution in my opinion. This was how Raven set up the first NH3 systems some 40 years ago. In my opinion, they should not have offered the single valve alternative. It's only saving grace is that one valve costs less than two.
