It has a feed value similar to oats but makes more straw
We sell seed for “zollernkorn” which is a true spelt. The spelt that French’s sell has been back crossed to wheat to make it thresh more easily/cleanly and is not considered acceptable for export markets. It doesn’t sound like that is a concern for you though.
