The 1150 engine I have at 650 states max fuel consumption under max load is something like 21 an hour.
Yeah, I’m gonna call BS on 21 gph producing 650 hp.
That would be 30.95 horsepower-hour per gallon.
The Nebraska tractor test fuel efficiency record is 18.65 horsepower-hour per gallon.
Realistically that engine would be burning ~35 gals/hour to produce and use 650 hp constantly for an hour.
