SE Iowa | We run a 1066 hydro, they are excellent chore tractors. Fairly inefficient on fuel especially to do fieldwork with but overall not too bad. Pto design on IH much much better than anything John Deere had to offer at the time. Hydros are expensive if it needs rebuilt, but rarely cause troubles. It would be the last tractor on earth I would take to go plow 80 acres but one of the first to feed a bale of hay or pull a silage wagon. I’d buy it if priced right. | |
