Coles County, Illinois | I haven't used it yet but Liberty Ultra is a different isomer than regular Liberty. Whether it's more effective when one uses the same amount of active ingredient I don't know but BASF unlike Monsanto in the past seems to be more honest in their claims. From their website "New Liberty® Lock Formulation locks 3x more herbicide into pigweed vs generic glufosinate."
I know the U of I (Illinois) rates the S isomer of metolachlor to be more effective than the original (I think 15% but not sure.) So there is some history of refining isomers. | |
