"Steve sold it to me. Ask him what model it is!"

The problem is that Steve died 7 years ago. I can look up PIN specific parts easily. But when the machine was sold to Smith Farms then auctioned off 3 more times its hard to track down the right stuff if it hasn't been updated in the system. I've did a lot of digging over the last few weeks on various machines I used to own or ran and its amazing to see equipment thats been gone for 30 years still listed as being owned by the original owner. It is easy to look up a customers machines but when he buys 2-3 combines or tractors every year and the model number stays the same then the list gets real long. When the guy has owned a dozen or more combines with the same model number I'm going to need more info if we get real deep into things where serial breaks are. A lot of it is the same but there are differences..
