Aplington , Iowa | I've been running the Calmer rolls and running the head low, but I still have the 'snow fence effect with 3-4 standing rows that catch the blowing trash and hamper emergence in 2-3 rows across the planter width. I am going to try and add a stalk smasher to every row on the corn head this fall to try and have more consistent emergence. I am not sure that will solve everything, but I need to try and improve it some how. | |
