That’s actually pretty interesting. There were lots of cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes, snap beans, and others in southern MI /northern IN when I lived there a while ago. A lot of those were machine harvested. in the case of the tomatoes, I think a lot of those were juice tomatoes though.
