North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast | Any wide brimmed hat that is comfortable and stays on my head works. I like ball caps when in the shop or Tractoring. Out in the sun type work is straw hat time.
I take BP meds and am told to stay out of sun and use lots of sunscreen or suffer the consequences.
I cringe when I see an old man (like me!) with a burnt up bulbous nose and ear tips trimmed like a Doberman.
I slather on sunscreen and have wide hats to keep my nose and ears in a shaded spot.
