We run a geringhoff horizon and get along ok. Have ran in non chopped and chopped. For coc I still run 2 passes with a salford ahead of strip tilling. Helps keep the residue anchored over winter so the strip stays clean.
I should say I'm not running a gladiator. Got a case ih 950 with dawn gfx row cleaners on it. The 2 salford passes really help but yes it's another step.
