The tee-jet chart I looked at when determining the tip size (03) and psi (60psi) I wanted to use has the droplet size at the medium level. IMO using a tip that gives you finer droplets when you are spraying in the middle of a hot sunny day will leave you with droplets that evaporate before they hit the crop/ weed canopy.
