Thanks for the suggestions & congratulations on the job. It's good to read that someone with farm experience is at the parts counter. Anything to speed up & make it easier & more efficient for  your side AND my side of the counter is appreciated.

Now, since  you didn't ask, here's 2 of my long-time suggestions for dealer parts people.

1. Identify yourself when you answer the phone. I i.d. myself (in detail) and you can call me "Ron" on the phone. I hate reciprocating and calling you the only name you gave on the phone which was "Parts....can I help you"? Instead, "this is Jim/Bill/Todd/Emma/whoever in parts....can I help you"? Now, when I call back I can tell whoever that I talked to you a few minutes ago & have info to continue.

2. Talk to the dealership into getting a cell phone to use for photos...both ways. Sometimes what I call an "arm", you might call an "actuator", but we're looking at the same thing.
