Northeast Missouri
I used to be a Parts Manager at a Deere dealership so I feel your pain. Many times people really don't know what they have. My solution back in the day was to start asking questions and showing them pictures until something gave them a hint of what they had. As hard as it is, you simply have to be patient with people. The person who sends his wife in for a mower belt may be the next large machine customer. Thousands of dollars are made and lost over very simple matters like this.

All this being said, I have Parts Cataligs for every machine I own. I try to call with a part number to make life simpler for everyone. My dealer people like that.
